Rapid Deployment Video Surveillance Systems (RDVSS)

RDVSS are fully self-contained surveillance systems that may be powered from local mains or (optional extras) Solar Power or Wind Generator and integral battery supplies.
RDVSS is fitted with circuit breaker and internal power point and individual fused outputs for other low power devices.
RDVSS is fitted with a full function Digital Video Recording system that is certified to MIL SPEC 810 to tolerate Heat, Humidity and Vibration.
This unit can operate from – 40 to + 65C and can record 24 x 7 for up to 30 days.

RDVSS is also fitted with a GPS module and antenna so that no matter where the unit is installed the GPS location will be embedded onto the video images for evidence. Plus, the GPS allows the unit to be “time synced” with the satellite so that even the time become evidence.

RDVSS is fitted with two powerful PTZ speed dome cameras that have day/ night capability and 36 times zoom lens. This means you can view a car number plate at approx 200 mtrs. These PTZ domes are so powerful one can be zoomed in on a target area while the other is programmed to conduct random tours of the surrounding area.

RDVSS is fitted with cable-free links for the transmission of video and telemetry over free air space, the equipment requires no costly wiring. Standard units can transmit up to 1 Klm (line of sight) however; this can be upgraded to 6 Klm or even 12 Klm if required.

RDVSS can also interface with our portable intruder detection equipment to provide complete area protection packages.
Conventional CCTV systems require cables to link cameras to a monitoring station.
Video output and telemetry commands to control the cameras are transmitted via the cables.
RDVSS use radio to transmit video and telemetry over free air space and this is not only cheaper in certain circumstances but also allows the cameras to be
moved around with greater ease.
