IR-PILLAR SERIES INFRA-RED ILLUMINATOR

The LeadEx IR-Pillar series of infra-red LED illuminators provide powerful performance when used with IR sensitive black & white cameras. With the very latest surface mount LEDs and Laser LEDs incorporated as well as the unique concept of design, the IR-Pillar series delivers excellent pictures at night for wide angle and long-range view.

The Infra transparent black color polycarbonate cover offers not only vandal resistant performance, but also zero light pollution. And these illuminators are excellent for “covert” security or where the use of visible lighting is not desired.

The unique pillar design with modular panel and pan/tilt full direction adjustable brackets provides the maximum flexibility, not only to alter the angle of illumination on site to suit specific security needs and to match the camera’s field of view, but also to make it possible and easy to add multiple panels for wider angle and longer range view.The panel is user adjustable, from –45 to + 45 degree at pan direction, and from –15 to +15 degree at tilt direction.

The cooling system includes a LED heat sink fitted on the aluminum pillar and 2 air-flow fans for ventilation purpose. Also, the power supply output is temperature controlled to deliver a long working life.

There are two types of modular panels:
a.) IR-Pillar, includes 12pcs high power surface mount LEDs (1 Watt each) and 20pcs high power socket LEDs (0.4Watt each)
b.) IR-Pillar Plus, includes 12pcs high power Laser LEDs (1 Watt each) and 20pcs high power socket LEDs (0.4Watt each)

IR-Pillar includes 6 series:
IR-P100, covers up to 100 meters range (1 IR-Pillar included)
IR-P200, covers up to 200 meters range (2 IR-Pillar included)
IR-P250, covers up to 250 meter range (4 IR-Pillar included)
IR-P300, covers up to 300 meters range (1 IR-Pillar Plus included)
IR-P350P, covers up to 350 meters range (2 IR-Pillar Plus included)
IR-P400P, covers up to 400 meter range (4 IR-Pillar Plus included)
(Note: the above nominal range is based on the use of a CCD camera with similar performance as Sony FCB-EX1000 series camera module at Black & White mode, 50% medium scene reflectance)
